The Soundgarden reunion is on after 12 year hiatus

Chris Cornell has spoken on Twitter and said “The 12 year break is over & school is back in session. Sign up now. Knights of the Soundtable ride again!” If you head over to the new Soundgarden website you will see that Soundgarden, who disbanded in 1997, is indeed ready to roll.

Other members of Soundgarden have played together since the band brokeup, however Chris Cornell said previously that he wouldn’t consider a reunion unless each member of the original band were a part of the reunion. This bodes will for this announcement. Details to come.
