Currently amassing rave notices across the Atlantic as she moves into the second month of her “Rated R” European tour – prelude to her eagerly awaited “Last Girl On Earth” Tour of North America in July-August – world-class megastar Rihanna raises the curtain on a new album, RATED R REMIXED, set for May 25th release.

RATED R REMIXED is the sequel to Rated R, the RIAA platinum global best-seller released November 2009, now four hit singles deep in America with the release of the new album’s “Rockstar 101” Chew Fu Remix.

Rated R’s third chart hit, the runaway smash “Rude Boy” charged to #1 on a slew of charts – including Billboard’s Hot 100, Hot 100 Airplay, Mainstream Top 40, Rhythmic, Mainstream R&B, Dance Club Songs and Dance Airplay and MediaBase’s Pop, Rhythm, and Urban charts. With “Rude Boy’” s success, Rihanna became the first female artist of the past decade to chart six #1’s on the Hot 100 – and now ties Madonna in first place with seven #1’s on the Hot Dance Airplay chart (launched in 2003). “Rude Boy” (released November 2009) followed up “Russian Roulette” (October 2009) and the RIAA platinum “Hard” featuring Jeezy (also November 2009). “Rude Boy” is Rihanna’s 14th top 10 on the Hot 100, which ties her with Beyonce for most top 10s on the chart by a female artist since 2000.

The final track listing for RATED R REMIXED is: 1. Mad House (Chew Fu Straight Jacket Fix) * 2. Russian Roulette (Chew Fu Black Russian Fix) * 3. Rockstar 101 (Chew Fu Teachers Pet Fix) * 4. Wait Your Turn (Chew Fu Can’t Wait No More Fix) * 5. Photographs featuring will.i.am (Chew Fu 35mm Fix) * 6. Rude Boy (Chew Fu Bumbaclot Fix) * 7. Hard featuring Jeezy (Chew Fu Granite Fix) * 8. G4L (Chew Fu Guns In The Air Fix) * 9. Fire Bomb (Chew Fu Molotov Fix) * 10. Stupid In Love (Chew Fu Small Room Fix).

The release of RATED R REMIXED coincides with the “Rated R” European tour finale 11 days later at Madrid’s Rock In Rio Fest. The tour kicked off April 16th in Belgium and covers nine countries – rolling through the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Germany, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Spain. The 8-week “Last Girl On Earth” Tour – produced by Live Nation and featuring Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj – opens July 2nd in Seattle at White River Amphi theatre, and hits 27 cities across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up on August 25th at United Center in Chicago.

Before starting her European tour, multi-platinum Grammy award winner Rihanna performed April 7th on FOX’s American Idol – on August 20th, the final week of the “Last Girl On Earth” Tour, she will perform on the summer concert series of ABC’s Good Morning America. A dynamic performer renowned for her cutting-edge stage looks and designs, Rihanna promises the “Last Girl On Earth” Tour will be a visual spectacle on a scale unlike anything she has accomplished in her already legendary career.

Rated R followed up the RIAA double-platinum Good Girl Gone Bad (May 2007), featuring the non-stop string of hits that began with the MTV VMA and Grammy Award-winning global #1 hit “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z), then “Shut Up and Drive,” “Hate That I Love You” (featur ing Ne-Yo), and “Don’t Stop the Music.” Good Girl Gone Bad spent 98 weeks on the Soundscan chart, and earned cumulative worldwide sales over 36-times platinum in at least 18 territories. The CD+DVD package Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded (January 2009) continued the hits with the #1 “Take A Bow,” the #1 “Disturbia” and Top 20 “Rehab.”

Good Girl Gone Bad was the third album release in less than two years by Barbados native Rihanna, who turned 22 on February 20th. It followed-up 2006’s RIAA platinum A Girl Like Me, which contained the back-to-back hits, “S.O.S.” and “Unfaithful”; and her RIAA gold debut from 2005, Music Of the Sun, featuring the world-wide smash, “Pon De Replay.”
