I have never heard of Dredg and really don’t know anything about them so the record El Cielo surprised me. It’s gorgeous and easy to listen to. It’s not the kind of rock music that is overwhelming radio and thank the Lord for that.
Sort of sounds like: Tool

Wow:
“Same Ol’ Road” – Very interesting. Lovely.
“Sanzen” – “Hold on/Hold on/We’ll be with you soon”
“It Only Took A Day”

Good:
“Convalescent”
“Sorry But It’s Over”

Boring:
The instrumentals aren’t very interesting. One listen and skip them.

I’m not sure how to classify Dredg other than pretty damn interesting.
