On tour with Frankie from Dreamstreet!
How’s the tour?
The tour is great. We are actually on a tour bus right now and I am doing some homework.
You gotta keep those grades up.
Yes.
I was checking out your website. What’s up with the new magazine coming out?
It’s our fourth edition, but we really don’t know much about yet.
It seems you have quite a following despite a lack of coverage by MTV. As you get older and your music matures, do you think you will eventually need this?
Right now we are so happy with everything. Nick and Disney have been awesome for us. Eventually I think we will need MTV more than we do now.
You recorded your current album a few years back. What has changed the most and what can people look for on your next album?
Our voices have changed the most. We don’t really sing that high any more. Even at our concerts, we are usually singing our songs a key or two higher. But as for our next album, it will definitely be much more mature. Right now we are in the process of trying to find material that will represent that.
What is the craziest thing a fan has done to meet you?
This one time we were coming from a concert, and this group of girls followed our tour bus for like eight hours until we pulled over into a McDonald’s. They followed us in and took some pictures with us and turned around and drove eight hours back.
Is the music business everything that you thought it would be?
There is a lot of business involved with it. I really don’t like the business side of it and my mom and my manager deal mostly with it anyway. What I really like is just doing the music and performing.
Who were some of your musical influences?
Earth, Wind, and Fire, Michael Jackson, and of course NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. Whenever we get compared to NSYNC it is such a huge compliment.
Anything else planned for Dreamstreet after the Aaron Carter tour?
Nothing as of right now. We are just concentrating on giving some good shows. We might be doing some stuff with Nickelodeon or something.
Any last words that you want to give to the fans?
Thanks so much for the support. I feel like you guys are the best fans in the world.
