Company Line: With their self-titled debut, Billy Talent takes their rock rebellion to a people eager for their own inspiration. Billy Talent makes this jump with a vitality that resonates reality and delivers the undeniable.
The Good:
“River Below” – Will we all know there name? No, but if this track could be a good start.
The Marginal:
“This Is How It Goes” – Crazy punk rock chorus. I’m not sure what the hell is going on and thorough investigation I like the song or am just a product of curiosity.
“Cut The Curtains” – I think the singer should try out for the Axl Rose job.
“Living In The Shadows” – The screaming/singing vocals are attracting my ear yet I could careless for the weak lyrics.
The Ugly:
“The Ex” – Laughable.
Frankly: Billy Talent has some talent. They do sound like re-treaded punk rock band that we’ve all tasted once or a few dozen times before.
