Simian can come off as completely disjointed but at the same time brilliant. We Are Your Friends is more on beaten path than their previous effort.

Rock Me:
“La Breeze” – Even though the chorus sounds like a charged up version of the Rolling Stones “19th Nervous Breakdown” this song is the best rock song I’ve heard in a long time.
“Never Be Alone” – Prepare the air guitar.

Roll Me:
“Sunshine” – Lovely, a tough follow up to the first track.
“Helpless”
“In Between”

Let Me Alone:
“The Swarm”
“When I Go” – This plunky track doesn’t do it for me.

Simian starts off hot but ends up cold. It’s really unfortunate because those first tracks showed so much promise for the entire record.
