Tonic has released a few albums already. They seem to come without much fanfare and go out with a flare. Head On Straight came out exactly the same.

Now Hear This:
“Count On Me” – This is your typical Tonic. They give you a song about love and drive it home perfectly.
“Believe Me” and “Let Me Go” – Lovely.

Hear It Once:
“Roses” – a hard rocker.
“Do You Know” and “Head On Straight” – a little on the light side.
“Come Rest Your Head” – A little deviation from the norm.

Skip It:
You’ll find a track or two that bore you.

Head On Straight isn’t bad, but it isn’t great. It’s floating somewhere in between. The songs often get monotonous and can lull you to sleep.
