Film Studio Synopsis: The film follows four sons of well-known Brooklyn-based mobsters and their desperate fight to retrieve a bag of cash in a small Montana town ruled by a corrupt sheriff. As they unite to find the money, they come face-to-face with the bloodshed and betrayal that is their birthright.
The Good: John Malkovich as always steals the show. His one-liners are often hilarious. Vin Diesel and his minimalist characters continue to be worth each word that doesn’t come out of his mouth.
The Bad: There are no twists or turns. The film lags quite a bit as it works its way towards the end. The money on the line is big, but we’ve seen bigger. We’ve seen bigger, meaner mobsters. Storylines, well we’ve certainly seen more interesting ones.
Frankly: Don’t miss the ending even if it’s just to listen to Malkovich’s rant towards Seth Green. Price of admission: $8.00. Price of Popcorn: $3.50. Malkovich ranting: Priceless.
