Epic/Columbia Nashville’s Jessica Simpson is on the road again and her next stop is the Grand Ole Opry, where she’ll be making her televised debut on the historic stage this Saturday, Sept. 6. Opry Live airs on GAC at 8pm CST. Joining country music legend Loretta Lynn, Patty Loveless and newcomer Crystal Shawanda for a very special Ladies Night themed evening, Simpson will perform her current hit single, “Come On Over,” and “Remember That,” from her soon-to-be-released album, Do You Know.
“I’m incredibly honored to be singing here … on this stage which has such a rich and amazing history,” comments Simpson. “I get chill bumps just thinking about it.”
After the Opry, the Texas native is headed straight to New York City to celebrate yet another debut: the release of her highly anticipated country album, Do You Know, on September 9. To kick off release week, Simpson is performing on Good Morning America’s Fall Concert Series (9/9) and will also be appearing on The CBS Early Show (9/16), Rachael Ray (9/17), The View (9/11) and Late Show with David Letterman (9/11). Check local listings for air times. Also, be sure to look for the special deluxe edition of the album that includes never-before-seen bonus footage.
Simpson will then be back on the road playing select fairs and festivals through the end of the summer, with the next tour date at the Los Angeles County Fair on 9/20.
