On March 10th, a new Butch Walker EP entitled “Here Comes The…” will become available exclusively on iTunes and specially priced at $1.99. The EP will feature two previously unreleased tracks, “Teenage Lust” and “I Just Want You To Want This Again” as well as the demo and re-mixed version of the title track “Here Comes The…”.

Butch Walker will set out on his first North American headlining tour in over two years starting on March 5th in Toronto and travel to over 20 cities including dates at Webster Hall in New York City, 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. and House of Blues in Chicago. The nearly sold-out tour entitled, “Butch Walker and his Gang of Merry Musical Melodymakers” is in support of his most critically acclaimed studio album to date, Sycamore Meadows, released this past November. The shows will feature songs from his previous releases as well as a few surprises. Full tour schedule and album background below.

In other news, Walker has been tapped to perform his current single “Here Comes The…” on TNT’s upcoming primetime show “Wedding Day” which is set to air in the late spring and from Mark Burnett Productions and DreamWorks Television.

Sycamore Meadows, the street where acclaimed musician Butch Walker lived and worked in Malibu, CA has drastically changed as a result of the massive wildfires that destroyed much of the area last November. And like many other Southern California residents, Walker lost his entire house and all his personal possessions in those fires, including his studio and every master recording he’s ever made. But inspiration sometimes comes from tragedy and so it became that this event incited Butch Walker to create music unlike anything he had ever done before. The result is his fourth studio album, Sycamore Meadows (Power Ballad/Stay Platinum/Original Signal). The album, which was written and produced entirely by Walker, features a classic and introspective sound highlighting his poignant lyrics and unforgettable melodies, further proving the staying power of Walker as a solo artist.
