Flyleaf has just released a new webisode on their official site. The clip features the band talking about the meaning behind Memento Mori, the songwriting process, and recording with Howard Benson. Flyleaf guitarist Sameer talks about the bands decision to name the new album after the phrase “Memento Mori” (“Remember Mortality”); “We wanted the record to be timeless, because the theme of the phrase “Memento Mori” is a timeless theme, it’s the message of mortality.” On working with Howard Benson bassist Pat mentioned, “The familiarity of working with Howard’s team helped to shave some of the fear off”. Memento Mori hits stores everywhere November 10th.
