Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), in association with Build-A-Bear Workshop®, today announced that Build-A-Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley for Wii™ and Build-A-Bear Workshop: Welcome to Hugsville for Nintendo DS™ are now available.
“Our aim is to give families the magic of Build-A-Bear Workshop at home, anytime they want,” said David Oxford at Activision Publishing.
Maxine Clark, founder and chief executive bear of Build-A-Bear Workshop, added “We are pleased to be working with Activision to introduce these exciting games for Build-A-Bear Workshop and Nintendo fans. Build-A-Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley and Build-A-Bear Workshop: Welcome to Hugsville encourage friendship and creativity while allowing families to share in the Build-A-Bear Workshop experience at home.”
Build-A-Bear Workshop: Welcome to Hugsville for Nintendo DS allows players to create a new friend, just like in the stores. Build-A-Bear Workshop mascots Bearemy and Pawlette Coufur® guide players through eight different mini games, some of which allow players to construct their own Cub Condo, build their own vehicle or personalize their own new friend.
In Build-A-Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley for Wii™, players set out to make Friendship Valley furbulous by decorating the town and competing in mini-games with their special furry friend. They can choose one of 13 different stuffed animals then can take pictures of their friend and use the pictures to decorate the village.
