Geggy Tah are signed to that fruity Talking Head David Bryne’s label, Luaka Bop. So that should at least give you some idea as to where this album is going. The title is fitting: Into The Oh.
“Goodnight To The Machine” is odd to say the least, not giving me much chance to hear the vocals. Is “Dumb Submarine” art? What is this? And while “Love Is Alone” is quite dry, it’s not entirely bad. Then there is “Aliens Somewhere”, which should have come about ten tracks sooner.
Geggy Tah are all over the place. I can’t figure them out. I don’t care if a band has no genre, but at least give us an idea of the trip you are taking us on. These guys are so far gone that they don’t even know where they are walking.
