Look: The graphics have been upgraded since the PS2 version. The characters are amazing, the effects are fantastic and the environments are spectacular. Just have a look at that water, wow! The characters even lip-synch well, its pretty amazing to watch. Characters change depending on what gear you give them from cheesy Robin Hood to tough chain mail your character transforms. The monsters are fantastic in their detail and being just plain creepy.
There seems to be a problem with the camera, but once you understand that you are in control of it you can actually make it better.
Feel: There is hacking, spell casting, and the occasional running. What is as much fun is tricking the baddies into chasing you so you can eventually get them to come around a corner and hack them to pieces. I found one area where I needed to level up where I could run from about fifteen skeletons and turn back and run again without getting killed. There is nothing more fun than strategy.
There is a helpful map, however you can occasionally get lost as to where you go next or where you need to back track. Overall the gameplay is fun, which is the main reason why we play.
Hear: Tight atmospheric and ambient noise. The voice acting is great. The footsteps can get a bit annoying, however when you kill your enemy they fall and their sword gives a nice ‘clink’.
Finally: As with the PS2 game there seemed to be this great polished feel. There is so much to explore and three characters you can play, it’s a hell of a long game. I finished it and then went on with another character. I have to admit finishing this took away my regular life, but now it seems worth it.
