Fall Out Boy hits the road and offers “America’s Suitehearts” EP

As radio has been embracing Fall Out Boy’s latest single “America’s Suitehearts” from their new release FOLIEà DEUX , fans have bought the exclusive iTunes “America’s Suitehearts” EP in droves, making it the #1 Alternative Album on iTunes, as well as the #4 Album overall. The EP features two alternative versions of the single: one is acoustic, while the other is a remix from Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus. The EP also offers the track “Lullabye” (previously not available digitally), and the “ America ’s Suitehearts” video.

Fall Out Boy are currently on the ‘Believers Never Die Part Deux Tour’ which has been selling out in many markets since tickets went on sale in late January. Some of the dates have been featuring 50 Cent as well. The tour comes in support of Fall Out Boy’s fourth full-length cd, FOLIE à DEUX, which was released late last year. Critics have raved about their live show. After opening night in Phoenix , the Phoenix New Times claimed,

“…it was hard not to get caught up in the high-energy show dance/rock show. The group covered all of their hits including “Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down,” “Dance, Dance,” “This Ain’t a Scene, it’s an Arms Race” and “Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet……I’ve seen FOB a handful of times and this was definitely their best performance to date.”

“ America ’s Suitehearts” from FOLIE à DEUX, has been steadily moving up the radio charts. The band’s next television performance will be The Today Show outdoors on May 22nd.

Fall Out Boy have built up a loyal following through relentless touring; they have performed over 1200 shows since their inception in 2000. The band’s 2007 release Infinity On High debutedat #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was the follow-up to From Under The Cork Tree, their Island debut of May 2005, which spent 72 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
