The vocalist from one of the top alternative metal bands of all time, Linkin Park, and the founder of new band Dead by Sunrise, Chester Bennington, will play Halo® 3: ODST with Xbox LIVE Gold Members in our Game With Fame. The band Linkin Park has won two Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, and four MTV Video Music Awards. Now, the band’s legendary vocalist, Chester Bennington, has started a new project, the band Dead by Sunrise. It’s not a replacement for his work with Linkin Park, but a place to showcase some of his different, darker, and moodier work. Joining with Ryan Shuck, Amir Derakh, Brandon Belsky, Elias Andra, and Anthony “FU” Valcic, the band has recently released the album Out of Ashes, which has already climbed into the Top 30 of the Billboard 200 Album Chart.

Bennington says of his work with Dead by Sunrise, “I feel a real sense of achievement because something original, meaningful, and viable has sprouted out of this experience. And it’s not just a side project. I feel like I’ve created a band with a new sound.
